Veteran Telugu Actor Potti Veeraiah Passes away

South industry actor Potti Veeraiah passed away, breathed his last in a private hospital in Hyderabad. According to reports, he was admitted to a hospital this morning after suffering a heart attack. Unfortunately, he died on Sunday evening, has been battling health problems for the past few years, told family members, his funeral will be held on Monday.

Coming from the village of Telangana, Potti Veeraiah was attracted to stage plays and films from an early age. Desiring to become an actor, he landed in Chennai, and during the early days, he worked in a flower shop, which decorates the film set. As Veeraiah was a dwarf, senior hero Shobhan Babu advised him to meet directors and get suitable roles in films. Subsequently, Veeraiah made his acting debut with B Vittalacharya's film  'Aggi Dora' in 1967 and starred in Radhamma Pelli.
